Early on the third day
Wondered how they might see inside
Found the stone rolled away
Angels appeared
‘He isn’t here!’
This is the start of something new
Life has come breaking through
The Son has risen, shining bright

Christ the Lord is risen
The dawn of a new day
When the stone was rolled away
Two men walking that same day
They could not understand
But then Jesus joined on the way
Showed them all of God’s plan
